Some companies are “listed” on the LSE, and some are “quoted” on AIM – the LSE Alternative Investment Market. Listed companies may have either a premium or a standard listing. The former requires a sponsor and must follow the premium listing rules which are considerable. The standard listing is a far less onerous alternative and could well be the way forward for smaller companies. AIM is often referred to as the junior market but its rules and structure are making it more costly and onerous. Find out more about LSE Main Market Standard Listing. |
